BlahBlahBlah #2
Bi-annual solo anthology comic, 28 pages, magazine sized, black, white and red
Austin English says, "This is a really really impressive solo anthology by Juliette Collet. It's full of comics that, if you were to give it just a superficial glance, are confessional/sexual auto bio entires that might seem to be made for shock value alone. But, upon reading it, what we have is something that's extremely thoughtful, very sad in some parts, funny in others, and overall just an incredibly made comic that is thrilling to read. Great great stuff that I can't recommend highly enough."
Floyd Tangeman says, "Juliette is an underground cartoonist and she is really good at making comics. The stories here are lewd, heartfelt, shocking, appalling, exciting, sincere, erotic, and very well drawn - in a style that perfectly captures the essence of cartooning... the thrill of drawing and of being alive... Juliette invites the reader into her world completely, and pulls no punches... ! Somewhat of a stylistic successor to Julie Doucet, Collet has a no-holds-barred singular vision and it appears as if comics simply flow from her essence naturally.....
Blah blah blah is a great opportunity to catch Collet before she is ridiculously famous as a cartoonist. I met Juliette outside of her school and she also has comics in Cowlick Comics #1..... this magazine is 2 color RISO printed and it is also fairly cheap...."
